SMART Gaming Support System debuts on Celebrity Solstice

The SMART Gaming Support System made its world debut onboard the Celebrity Solstice on November 17th, 2008. The Solstice is a state of the art luxury cruise ship and the latest addition to the Celebrity brand, which is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.



Solstice's Fortunes Casino features 275 of the latest slot machines, in addition to 14 of the table games, all decorated with spectacular LCD and glass displays. As part of many new, innovative technologies in the Fortunes Casino, the SMART system is featured in 20 prime-location slot machines. 

With the November installation of the SMART system, Celebrity Cruises now has the world’s first casino to provide this revolutionary SMART service to their slots players.

SMART services include wireless-remote play, multiple-machine play, ADA-assist play, as well as a range of services that allows players to sit back, relax and play without ever touching the slot machine. 

Excited about the launch and new services, SMART Gaming Support and Celebrity Cruises are marketing the SMART system onboard the Solstice and to future casino clients.

Moving forward, SMART Gaming Support will use customer feedback and technical analysis to continually improve the system and to deliver a second-generation version currently under development.
